There are not really many theatre options on the coast. This one is dated and smells and looks unclean in the theatre. Better than nothing, but I recommend waiting until you can stream it at home or driving hours to somewhere else. My wife had old gum stuck on the cushion part of her seat. We moved to a new section. It is sad, but I can't recommend this location.

The kids working were very friendly. A rush of people in Lobby for a Holiday movie, and the employees acted like CHAMPS! Small town theater with a lot of small town charm. A great experience for my wife and I!!

WARNING!! DO NOT see Killers of the Flower Moon at Coming Attractions Theater in Newport Oregon! At least not until the Taylor Swift concert stops playing there. I love Taylor Swift as much as the next person, but it completely ruined the movie for me! The Newport theater put Taylor Swift in the theater right next to Killers of the Flower Moon and the constant thundering music rattled right through the walls. I asked the personnel to turn down Taylor two different times, each time they turned the music down for around 10 to 15 minutes then turned it right back up. This is the first bad experience I've ever had at CA Newport, just wanted to warn others so you don't see Killers of the Flower Moon until Taylor Swift is over.

Everyone is always lovely, and they always have the latest movies. 2 adults, 1 large popcorn & 1 large soda was ~$30 on a Friday night. Matinees and senior/student/vet discounts are available. By the way - look into the treeline on the east side of 101, and don't worry if you pass it (even the locals do!); there are opportunities to safely turn around both north and south of the drive.

The heat is not working inside the theater itself. It works at the cashier and in the halls but, if you go to watch a movie, better to bring coat, gloves, and a blanket! It was this way for the past 2 years! What's up with that?

Small town theatre. Popcorn is great but sometimes they have problems with the heat. Bring a coat. Shows play on time. Sometimes ticket lines can be long or sometimes there is no one there.

Good little theater. The driveway entrance and signage leave something to be desired but it's clean and friendly and the prices aren't ridiculous like in the city.
